OUR BELIEFS
We believe the Bible to be inspired and the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Thessalonians 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21)
We believe that there is one God; eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19; Isaiah 43:10-11)
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in the blessed hope of His personal, visible future return to this earth to receive to Himself His Blood-bought Church, that it may be with Him forever. (Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:31, 35; Matthew 28:6; Luke 24:39; Acts 1:9,11; 2:33; Philippians 2:9-11; Hebrews 1:3)
We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ. (Luke 24:47; John 3:3; Romans 10:13-15)
We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for one's personal salvation. (John 7:37-39; Acts 4:8)
We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer. (Isaiah 53:45; Matthew 8:16-17; James 5:14,16)
We believe that the baptism with the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, with evidence of speaking in other tongues, is given to Believers who ask for it. (1 Corinthians 12:4-10,28)
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling enables the Christian to live a Holy life. (Hebrews 12:14)
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation. (Matthew 25:46; Mark 9:43-48; Revelations 19:20)
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 10:47-48)
We believe in the observance of the Lord’s Supper. (1 Corinthians 11:24-25; Matthew 26:28)
